October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. Last year Dave from Blogography.com went Pink for October. That was the first I’ve heard of it and I thought this was a great idea. Since I wasn’t really keeping my blog up to date then, I did not participate.
This year I proudly sport a Pink for October graphic. You can get your own Pink for October graphic at the Pink for October Website
There are other ways you can support Breast Cancer Awareness such as:
- Make a Donation to Susan G. Komen for the Cure
- Buy and wear pink ribbon pins and jewelry, buy a T-Shirt (there’s also socks, hats, etc.) or just wear pink!
- Click to Give – all it takes is a simple click. The sponsors pay for mammograms. This is just too easy and you could help save someone’s life! Mammograms are one of the best early detection methods and not everyone can afford them.
- Put a magnet on your car
- Participate in the Boobie-Thon
Help spread the word!
